Things are going to get worse before they get better. The bible tells us this. Let us rejoice in fact that things are not as bad as they will be in the future.

And today, there is pie!

Anyone with a computer, an internet connection, a warm house and a meal to share with family has lots to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

Getting better is no guarantee and it doesn't just happen. If one is sitting around waiting for things to get better, they're in trouble.

The Good Lord gave us scotch, puzzy, puppies, and guns. For this I am thankful.

Happy Turkey Day everybody! Hope all are happy and healthy!

Happy Thanksgiving Jorge1 and to all the other great guys here! I expect the worst to come and I’m at the point that I just wish it would all come to a head so that we can deal with it and not leave it to our children to deal with.

God Bless the United States of America.

I guess the free will part flew over your head.

When Eashoa walked among humans, those that should have been able to recognize him, couldn’t see him for who he was.
As 2000+ years have gone by, it’s understandable that most today wouldn’t recognize him either.

It is certain men who believes God wants to save the USA and pray to him day and night for 'there own" thoughts and desires to take place! Who has prayed to God for his own will to take place no matter what it might be? The bible very clearly states that Jesus will ride the white horse into battle and Daniel 2:44 will happen!

Man's thoughts are not God's thoughts and I have never read anywhere in the bible where God has explained what many men seem to assume

I guess the omniscient part flew over your head. It means he knows the future. He knew we would screw up 'free will' while he was building us. Or is he not omniscient after all?

Nothing flew over my head. I read the book. We know the ending.....
We know the ending because GOD is omniscient .

158XTP,

Uh...that is NOT my post (above), even though you wrongly attributed it to me. You wrongly posted that I said “At a significant altitude...”, and I clearly ‘NEVER’ said that.

Jeff, it was mainly tongue in cheek as I realize god gave us CHOICE, hence all the mayhem we've caused. I wish I had more faith, but life has taught me that God, is not only indifferent, but often-times cruel...

Yep, if we jump off a cliff, He let's us crash.
