I love Trump and I'm proud of voting for him BUT he made some terrible cabinet picks. This turd being one of them...Bolton probably being the worst.

I don't keep up with all of the stuff, details, etc......but I thought Sessions was a great pick when the pick was made. I thought he would be a bulldog going into it.....once in play he turned into a neutered chihuahua. I can't put any blame on Trump for picking him to start with.

Common sense would tell you that Mattis hated Trump because Trump didn't support the ongoing military intervention in the Middle East like Bush and Obama. There are more like him and they have opened their mouths in opposition to Trump. It should be illegal for people like Mattis to ever work for a military contractor after they retire too. It sets them up to make decisions based on their own future as opposed to that of the nation. They grease the skids while they're in the military so they get rewarded later.

Old "Mad Dog" is all hat and no horse. He talked like a tough general but I assure you, he restrained the hell out of us in Iraq and with a steep price to pay if you stepped out of line. When Trump got elected I knew he would pick him for SoD, based on his supposed tough guy reputation, and I knew it would not end well. Trump doesn't dick around with posers and Mattis is an epic poser.
People say it all the time... Trump is not an ideologue and I concur. Unfortunately, that attribute has been his Achilles Heel. He can't spot easily liberals and liberalism. It's evident in the many, many poor choices of people he's chosen to surround him.
Most of us on this forum can spot liberal chit bags a mile away. Trump for whatever reason, can't until they pulled the long knife on him.
