For my daughter, I am making a spalted white oak 2 inch slab coffee table with a fairly large resin inlay. It has a 2nd shelf under it that is 1 inch quarter sawn white oak from the same tree..

Yeah, I do from a place here in MN.

I started with used ones, but the time to clean them up more than offset the cost of buying new.

This cutlass is going to be under someone's tree on Christmas. It has a forged 1095 blade, forged iron guard and bone handle. The blade is a design from a late 1700's sword in my collection. It is flat ground with no fuller and a false edge at the point. It'll probably be my last forged blade.
