B I G means the most. Counting This season I've been deer hunting 43 ys (seasons)
I have ONLY killed two 9 points bucks, quite a few 10s, BUT the majority are 8 (EIGHT) pointers.

It seems to me that 8 points is the 'normal' count rack (imo).

I'd choot thatun in a New York SECOND !

I know guys that want a big typical in each " catagory ".....
A big 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,11 and 12.

Saw a monster 6 pt killed last yr near where we hunt.
Mass and height.....a stud.

But only 6 pts.

Id have shot it.

There sure is for me. I LOVE big heavy 8's.

OPs 8 pt is a deer i wish i could bring home once in a while ( because wishing for a nice one like that every year might come across as being greedy ).

Killed a bunch way smaller and was/ am happy with em.

Screw what anybody else thinks.

I have zero venison in my freezer. Aint the time to be picky

Folks are dang happy to shoot a 120in 8-point around here. That size buck would be the talk of the town in this area.....
