Some numbnutz was on Fox News this morning claiming that black and brown people should get priority. I'm sure the NFL and NBA players will get theirs right away. The blacks are already hollering they aren't going to let whitey use them as guinea pigs again. This will of course all turn out to be a cluster [bleep].

As in Canada , each state sets it's own guide lines. The federal guide lines in Canada are:
Those in long term care, (old folks homes ) and the workers there. The elderly, over 70, starting with those over 80 Those front line health care workers Indigenous people in remote communities Essential workers Homeless General population
These are only guide lines, more less agreed to by the provinces. There is science behind the list. This should provide the greatest impact. - What is the science placing Indigenous people in remote communities before Essential workers and the homeless. The issue with very remote northern native communities is there's no hospitals up there to deal with anything serious. Plus they (need to) live in doors all winter and normally with quite a few to a house and it has spread like wildfire in the couple places where its showed up.

That seems to be the case for all small communities. It is not just an issue for Indigenous communities.

In Canada we'll be starting on Saturday with 249.000 doses, that enough to do 124,000. That is only 1/4 the first group. I'm in the second, so likely in the summer.

And, if they stayed away from the cities, there would be no chance the virus would get there. Go to the cities, hang out in bars, get sick. It's cause and effect. Like I said before, lifestyle matters. GD

So far the only one OKed is the Pfizer-BioNteck , Moderna (sp) is "shortly". The Pfizer is coming from Belgium. I jumped the gun on vaccination, instead of this week, it'll be next week.
