Nice theory, cept for this, 5. The Clout - The calls matter! Why? Republicans know that Trump is the way to the Republican voters' hearts. When the media tried to shame Trump for overshadowing the senators in the GA rally - they basically provided incentive for every Republican to have Trumps back instead. In case you haven’t been paying tension over the last 5 years, Republicans not only do not have Donald Trump’s back, they want him gone just as much if not more so than the Democrats. OH, and forget the public opinion and their desire to be elected/ re-elected, they like the Democrats no longer have to worry about elections, they have Dominion, USPS and corrupt election officials.
