I get most of my once fired brass during the sight in days at the range or when some newbie comes in during the year that needs help getting sighted in. I always ask if the reload their ammo or plan to and if they say no I ask if I can have the brass. I don't load for an AR or other "modern" sporting rifle so am amply supplied with brass for my hunting rifles and fun guns. Paul B.

Still shopping for some brass.
I dont really NEED anymore....but I still look for it.
I see Once Fired brass for sale in non military chamberings.
You guys ever buy any of that stuff? Its cheap.
Any good? I buy once fired brass all the time. Never an issue except I still get some 45 ACP brass with small pockets. What are looking for? Unlike many I like to have 45acp with both primer sizes. Yes you have to segregate them and keep them separate. But with the current primer situation it's nice to have that flexibility.

Some of the people get it from testing ranges.
Never been to an indoor range, but I understand only new ammo is allowed. Some make you by from them.
When they pick that up, its once fired.
Sure that's a critical income stream too. Sell the ammo, then sell the brass.

Well....I ordered it.
It seemed like plenty for used brass......and it didn't actually say "once fired".
120 some odd bucks for 1000?
I didnt want to say anything.......it was the 38 Special. Some capitalist would buy it up and sell it back to me for 240!
Its just gonna be practice ammo for the wife and her Ruger. 125 grain semi wad cutters and a little Bullseye.

Ones you gotta look out for big Jim are those gomers at the gunshow selling "once fired brass" all packaged in ziplock bags. If they are all bright and shiny like they just came out of a case polishing system it's because they did. Usually far from being once fired. On the other hand say a guy has 2 boxes of empty brass advertised as once fired look at them to see if they all have the same head stamps and you can see the remnant factory crimp. Something don't look right save your money. Mb

Brass you pick up at a range is likely once fired. If the shooter reloaded, he'd pick it up to reload himself.

Same here. Just down the road a bit is an area on BLM land where I can shoot out to a mile safely. Of course that's 4x what I can shoot at accurately. It's open country with a hill 2 miles away and nothing in between.

Way to expensive. $20/100 45ACP brass is very high. Most are out of stock, those that have some want a lot, but not that much. I try and find my 45 ACP brass for less than $10/100.

Graf and Sons is a fine business. I've bought from them for years with nary a problem.
I once bought some once fired 303 Savage brass here on the forum. I expect it was fired once.....by each fellow in Wyoming over a period of 100 years. Most split on my first firing. Annealing didn't seem to help.

If you pick up any brass I leave at the range. You can rest assured it’s been well used. Try to buy from a known source. I used to stop at KDF in Seguin to buy their once fired brass. They test fired all the rifles they worked on. Hasbeen

Any good? I have always wondered how they know it has only been fired once. You catch it on the first bounce.

I've bought from these guys, back before the Commies on Ets-y kicked them off for selling scary gun stuff. They have their own website now. Their 223 brass still had primers in it, and was crimped. Majority of it was FC and Lake City, with a smaller percentage of oddball military and civilian headstamps. You take potluck with them. I would try them again if I needed any. https://bisonbrass.com/?gclid=CjwKC...U8KUS1VrEG7Qd6sRYB6frPdgP5RoCsb0QAvD_BwE
