Several states will be challenged. At least a half dozen. VP Pence will be running the congress and can interpret things the way he sees appropriate. Once those states are challenged, the senate votes for the VP which will be Pence. The congress (state by state) will vote for president. 1 vote per state, 34 of those states are Republican governors. Trump would win should all that come together.

In pushing for the $2k handout over the $600 handout against the wishes of Pence and the wider Republican Party, witholding the appropriations bill for Defense, and some of his latest communications, Trump has started his moves for becoming a politician after the Presidency. I can see him starting a third party, and I do see it working for a while (perhaps a long while). Pence will turn on Trump! Pence and the majority of the Republican machine will ratify the electoral college votes, and of course the Democrats will as well. For the Republicans to do otherwise is to undermine America's version of democracy. Trump knows this, it is why he has started distancing himself from the Republican party, and they are doing the same with him.

Pence is president of the senate and as is proscribed in the 12th Amendment can throw out the rigged states EC votes and send it to those state legislators for 1 vote from each state, OR, and very different, Electoral College Act proscribes other remedy. The house members CANNOT contest a states electors without a member of the senate signature on contesting document prepared by the house member. With Mitch "Controlling" the republicans in the senate chamber he alone is setting up contesting of the 6 states to fail. The fix is still in.
