In my 1965 M70 30-06 with IMR 4350, the 165g AB and BT (loaded to the same lengths) shoot to the same POI at 100 yards with virtually identical velocity, group size, and standard deviation between the two loads. This comparison was done in 2017.

They don’t shoot the same in my 7mm-08’s and maximum OAL is not quite the same either.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

I've had poor luck in getting AB to shoot well and gave them up early., not spending much time or effort after maybe 4 cartridges that would not shoot them well. I know others like them though.

I prefer classic.

You can buy AB seconds about as cheap as BT from SPS.
