I need help. I have 2 Ruger Gunsite Scouts and trying to decide what is the best scope for this application of forward mount. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I like the Burris 2.5x. It works well.

I have 2 Burriis 2.5X and a 1.75X. I like all of them but would go with the 2.5x on everything except a DG gun.
Some is Good---More is Better----Too Much is Just Right

I have a leatherwood 2x7 scout on my m1a scout. Surprisingly good glass, ballistic reticle to match my 308 and about $150 . 7x is nice for testing loads and long range shots
