FWIW, I paid $475 for a Model Seven Predator in .223 today, it was like new. A SS Model Seven in .243 recently sold for $550.

Unfortunately these days it’s about what someone w give for it. At least it’s a non tactical bolt gun. Rationale should at least be in equation. I’m thinking 9-1100$. A bunch. It would seem the Schnable fore stock would kick it to a different interest level.

Thanks, that's probably a good data point.

That same rifle/carbine in .260 sold here locally for about $550 recently. I kept trying to get the seller to come down a bit more that the $550 it was offered at for more than a year. Not exactly sure what it sold for,

I just sold the exact rifle you are describing in .308 for $900 last week. Local face to face sale, not an auction. Probably could have got more at auction.

I bought a Stainless Syn. Model-7 in .308Win. from a gun club member 4 months ago. I did not want it. I wanted a .243.

But I knew Trump would get fuuuckked and grabbed that deal. $450 for a like new rifle, plus a sling, a soft case and $50 worth of ammo.
