The ring halves clamp the plastic inserts to the scope. Are the plastic pcs edges touching each other ( lessening clamp force to the scope ) ?
I dunno. Mine have had a litle gap and not slipped But I havent shot anything major in recoil either
But I still checked for gap.

I had this issue with my T/C encore pro hunter in 35 whelen. I just upped the in lbs on the ring screw a couple or 3 in lbs and it solved the problem. Big Ed

Are you shooting regular ammo or something heavier?

I use Sig Zee 1" rings on a light weight 300WSM, so far so good, holds zero.

Shooting 250-400 gr bullets , max loads . Called local hardware store and auto parts , no rosin . Not sure they knew what I was talking about . Like I said , have same rings on a 444ss and a hi-wall 45/70 and a couple magnum calibers, never had this problem before . The gasket form , guess after install you just use a paper towel and brake cleaner to remove any excess ? Would Walmart carry rosin in sporting goods ?

Try a sporting goods store for powdered rosin. I needed some years ago and that was where I ended up finding it.

Thanks to all , the 2 formula is working plus I went an extra 5 inch lbs on the ring caps . Shot several 300-400 gr8 loads the other day and all was good . Got some nice groups with 300 gr Barnes original and the 400 gr Buster . Three shot groups ran from slightly over an inch to two inches . At max loads . Will be interesting to try them out on deer next season . Kenneth
