That is not the decoders you are seeing, it is the ballasts !

Thats not a ballast. LEDs typically dont use a ballast.

Took me 20 minutes to install highs, lows and driving lights. Hardest part was taking out the air box. So simple.

Just popped passenger side bulb. Got 6 months out of this Osram Nightbreaker Laser. Im on the 3rd set and I never got more than 10 months out of em. It definitely was brighter and better beam than OEM, but I got the schitts of changing out bulbs. Drivers sides easy, and I can yank the airbox out of the passenger side and have a bulb in in 5 minutes but damn does it get old. Especially when its cold out and I dont have a garage.

I just ordered some LEDs for low and high beam. Good reviews on Amazon, even though theyre cheapies......so how long LEDs usually last? Any issues?

I run diode dynamics LED bulbs with do issues .Goggle them

UPDATE! Theyre still goin strong, highs, lows and driving. Brighter and they already outlasted the majority of Osram Nightbreakers I had been running.

BUT, I got an email from Amazon stating there was a recall on these highs below for being TOO bright. And I could call Fahren for replacements or they would ship from Amazon a new set that were DOT safe......

They look well built. For $40 I wont complain....yet laugh

Problem is, the ones above are 60w 10,000 lumens. The LEDs they recommend from Amazon are 120w 20,000 lumens....

WTF?? No way these arent brighter than what I have now. Think im disregarding the email and keeping what I got.

UPDATE....still goin strong 11 months later. Id have replaced halogens at least once, most likely twice by now. They definitely paid for themselves and performance is same as day I installed them. Gotta say best upgrade ive ever done to my truck.
