Used a #1 today for the first time. Felt surprisingly good in my hands and the blade shape really works well. I “choke up” on knives, be they kitchen or field knives. The no.1 is made for my style which makes the blade feel shorter than its 4”… it’s surprisingly nimble and svelt in the hand. It’s still the “best” game knife I’ve ever used…

I’m just gonna have to buy one. They look uncomfortable as hell, but folks lov em it appears I thought the same as well until I was gifted one some years past. They are pretty handy knives.
