As judges often times do, Leahy will not allow certain points of evidence , deem them inadmissible for whatever reason he can imagine up. Think judge Emmet Sullivan vs General Flynn. The difference in the Trump “trial”, is that Leahy’s rulings cannot be appealed to a higher court, there is no appeals process in an impeachment “trial”. So whatever Leahy says, does, or rules will remain.
If this is part of the plan and game to “inform” the public, it is a very poor game plan.
Leahy checked himself into the hospital.
