Three people, including the shooter, are dead after a dispute over snow shoveling in Plains, Pennsylvania, outside Wilkes-Barre on Monday, Plains Township Police Chief Dale Binker told CNN on Tuesday.

At around 9 a.m. Monday, the shooter, Jeffrey Spaide, got into an argument with James and Lisa Goy, who lived across the street, while shoveling snow from his driveway, a release from the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office said.

The Goys were shoveling snow from their parking spots across the street onto Spaide's property, the release said. Spaide asked them to stop and the argument escalated quickly. Spaide asked them to stop, leading to a heated exchange during which James Goy threw a tool he was using to clear snow from his car and approached his neighbor in the street, prosecutors said.

When James Goy cocked his fist, Spaide retreated into his house as the Goys continued yelling and cursing at him, according to prosecutors.

Prosecutors said the Goys acknowledged Spaide holding a gun, but that they continued shouting names at him from the middle of the street.

The Goys did not react when Spaide initially opened fire, and both were eventually shot, dropping both of them to the ground, prosecutors said.

He then went back into his house, pulled out an AR-style rifle, and fired at the injured Goys, "executing them," Binker said.

Binker told CNN this was not the first disagreement between Spaide and the Goys over snow this year. Two months ago, another snowstorm also led to an altercation between them, he said, though police were not notified of that dispute and said Spaide was not known to police for any other matter.

Police arrived soon after the Goys were shot, and as they approached, heard a single gunshot coming from Spaide's house, which they believe was the self-inflicted shot that killed him, Binker said. Both James and Lisa Goy were pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

The Goys left behind a 15-year-old son with autism, whose grandparents will assume custody, Binker said, adding that they worked through the night on the case and consider the investigation closed.

So, a Spaide getting mad over shovels, and killing goy's who are white.....hmmm........all the stars aligned on this one, boils down to lack of respect, people just pretty much suck, no neighbors here either.

Snow, duck hunting.... No end to the horrors it seems.

This surely seems to be the best route from my perspective.

This happens every year in PA when we get a number of snow storms over the course of the winter. Someone, somewhere here in PA snaps and the bullets begin to fly.

Maybe the snow flakes were squashing his chronic bushes...

Dramatic video shows snow shoveling dispute that escalated to murder-suicide

Disturbing new video captured the dramatic clash between a man and his neighbors shoveling snow in Pennsylvania that escalated to a murder-suicide.

Surveillance footage showed the married couple yelling obscenities at the man before he grabs a gun and shoots them both in the middle of the street Monday morning in Plains Township.
“If you step out of here, I’ll knock your a– out,” the male neighbor could be heard saying to the shooter.
Police said Jeffrey Spaide, 47, shot dead his neighbors, James Goy, 50, and his wife, Lisa, 48, after arguing about each other shoveling snow onto each other’s property.

“I’ll make your life a living hell living here d–khead,” James could be heard shouting to which Spaide responds, “What?… F–k you, you f–king scum.”
James’ wife, who is carrying a shovel, then chimes in, “You’re the f–king scumbag. You don’t know how to talk to somebody.”
“That’s right… You’re a p—y, p—y, p—y,” her husband continued while flipping off the man.

Footage then shows Spaide walking down his driveway towards them to which the female neighbor responds, “Go ahead. Go ahead.”

When it becomes clear that the man is holding a gun, James yells, “Put the gun down.”
The man fires several rounds, striking the male neighbor before shooting his wife.

Footage shows James running back towards his house, while his wife falls to the ground in the middle of the street, where Spaide fires at her twice again.

“Call the cops,” James shouts before the gunman chases and shoots him again.
His wife lying on the ground then cries out, “You f–ker, you!”

While others run over to help the couple, Spaide runs out with another, larger rifle.

“You should have kept your f–king mouth [shut],” Spaide could be heard saying before shooting the woman again.

Police said Spaide then went back inside his home and used a third rifle to kill himself.

Thank you, Bristoe. Here is the video. It is, as you say, pretty grim. He shot them down with the pistol, they were still conscious and alert, and still cussing him out when he came back out with the AR and finished them off.

Right as he executed the woman with the AR he says, "You should have shut your f*****g mouth."

That's Darwin at work there. The guy starts shooting at them and the woman takes out her phone and starts recording him.

Good God, Bristoe! No kidding, he is shooting at them repeatedly with the semi auto pistol, lots of rounds most of which miss, and she whips out the Iphone and starts videoing the guy and actually takes 3 steps towards him, holding out her phone. That is one of the stupidest things I ever have seen. Like a video on an Iphone is protection from a hail of gunfire.

This is truly a tragic situation. Brutal video. Incredibly stupid people arguing over something completely petty and one of them resorting to the use of a firearm.

Something like this is just we needed with all the gun control crowd warming up in our nations capital.
