Gun’s ready, for sure. Not so sure about me.

That bullet is pretty amazing. I’ve read some PH’s like these Raptors.

LOL! you best get over there and lay some loin on the grill DF, what a great and unique place, not to derail the thread too much, but lighter monos, solid or these that shear are "bad through the bone" stuff, i dont know the dates, grades, expiry or anything else about both soft and hard body armor a bud brought out to the farm last year, plus, iirc a block of 1.5" laminated bullet resistant glass, well, guess what ate all three for supper?

Dinky 90gr Lehigh Defenders from my 357 Sig, velocity runs near 1700 fps over Longshot in the big P226 Sig, barrier blind and ready to go to work, old buddy kept shaking his head! cool

Yeah, they be some bad to the bone projectiles.

I got some 68 gr. Lehigh's loaded in my 9mm's...

What bullet and what's your load, please? I've started to use it with the 250gr TTSX for improved accuracy if possible. Have been using CFE 223 for 2850 fps.

80 grains of CFE223 behind the 270 grain TSX gets me 2806 FPS in an Interarms Whitworth MarkX

I took a nice bull moose locally at about 200 yards with a Nosler AB 260 grain with 71 grains IMR4064, R-P brass Fed GMM primers. Very accurate in my Cz550.

The recovered AB weighed 161 graines, shot through the forward shoulder. And recovered in the off side.

A couple days ago I used 81.5g of H4350 topped with a 260g NAB out of my pre 64 Mod 70. It shot a tiny group with this test load and my ave. velocity is ~50 fs slower than Hodgeden gets.

It's not a max load and I haven't shot it over a chronograph. I'd expect 2600-2700 based on published load data...
