I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

Two things, First, why the need to go down this road if Trump will be back in the WH soon? Yes, rhetorical. Second, remember when Trump tried to take Federal funding from CA and other sanctuary States. Remember how the courts and his own cabinet and staff said that was not legal.
