Loved them when I was a kid! Also loved Deviled Ham or potted meat sandwich’s. Haven’t had either in years.

Ate many a Deviled Ham and Deviled Roast Beef sandiwch Mom fixed in the old Terry camper when we traveled. Dad would make us sandwiches out of that corned beef that comes in the tapered can you open with a twist key.

Tins of potted meat, Ritz crackers and a hunk of what he called rat cheese went in Dad's fishing kit with the Vienna sausages.

Although they're ready to eat as is, viye- ainnies taste
better if you can cook em a bit.
You can build a small fire and burn it to coals,
and cook em a bit on a stick as if it were a hot dog.
Gives em a different flavor and makes em
more palatable ( to me anyway)
Goes good with the cans of pork and beans
and a few Ritz and a piece of red rind longhorn cheese

Since we''er on the subject, canned corned beef makes for a killer sandwich.

Wait, I’m confused. I thought bacon was the most important food group.
