Hey Folks,
The point of this post is to let all our friends know whats been happening with the lead times. Since last Oct., thanks to all of you, our orders have gone up 5 fold to record numbers pushing our lead times out to 11 or 12 months.
Currently we're running 2 shifts 6 days a week trying to meet demand, just 3 of the guy's last pay period totaled 153 hours O.T.!
If you have build plans, we ask you to be proactive and get your orders in as quickly as possible to get in the pipeline.
For you folks that are going to need something quicker, I would remind you that there are several Stocking Dealers that not only carry our products but many other needs like actions, stocks, optics brass, etc. as well. We're all in the same boat these days when it comes to back orders and short supplies.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
Later, Mark Buettgen

Glad I am done building. I was starting to get an itch but this will probably help get over it. Interesting times.

Usually the 2B and #3 barrels from Bartlein, Krieger, Shilen select match, and Lilja....................all dry up about the same time... April.

Each year I build 3 or 4 rifles in Sept for hunting in October.

lol I was thinking the same thing. Bartlein doesn’t need any defending and dozens of other just as good is even funnier.

Buy a bad Bartlein and get back to me... I'm more than happy to give my hard earned money to Krieger from now on.

Although my last Lilja was a hummer too...

I've never had a bad Bartlein or Krieger, so it's hard to get back to you.......

What was wrong with the Bartlein, and why didn't they take care of it?

Bartlein is like Leupold to me... amazing customer service and warranty. Doesn't mean I want to buy their products again. Thousands of customers love them, so knock yourself out.

Got up a couple hours ago to take a leak and ordered a barrel that was setting on the shelf, ready to ship. I reckon a guy could wait months, but no thanks. Or one could "score" a Retard twist rate and fhuqking HILARIOUSLY in conjunction! Hint. LAUGHING!

Pardon that it'll put THE Zing on everything from 40-90's. Hint. LAUGHING!

Bless your hearts, for doing your best though.

Addendum: Because Fhuqktards crack me up.

My brother built a 223 with a 1 in 16" twist Douglas barrel blank [normally for rimfire] and a 1903 Turkish Mauser action.
It shoots 52 gr bullets, but keyholes 55 gr bullets.
He owns a lot of 223s, but 20 years later, that is still his favorite for rodents.

I cannot imagine a 16 twist excelling at anything. I shoot 40's with a 12 twist and it does great.
