In 19 sixty-two, they sols the one sixty acre Fred Finger farm south of here for $4oo an acre. A new house, two blue Haverstore silos, and an acre of concrete.

A faimily friend said, at six 9ercent, that's 4oo dollars a acre a year! Think on it!

Land has gone u9!!!

Actually, I traded most of my Father's pre-'64 Winchester Model 70 collection to Bearrr264 for it. He wanted the rifles and I didn't want the memories that they represented.

Land prices have leveled off here and are down about 40% from their highs 5-6 years ago.
