Well there goes the best thing on talk radio.. wonder if they will replace him with someone but keep the show alive... Rush was once in a generation talent on the radio. We will likely never see another one like him during our lifetimes. My wife is sobbing uncontrollably and I feel as though someone his kicked me in the gut. We have been listening fans of his since back in the late 80's. Went to Rush to Excellence Tour events, bought his books, watched his TV show, contributed to his causes and always thought he was the greatest thing we ever saw/listened to regarding current events and politics. He had become a member of our family.
There are 2 rules to success:
1. Never tell everything that you know.

A sad day. Truly the end of an era. I was a huge fan from when he started in New York in the late 1980s. I remember being happy when I discovered that I could also listen to his show in Florida (which is where I lived in the late 1980s). I only started losing interest in his show when I saw how apologetic he was towards neoconservatism during the George W. Bush presidency. But, indeed, rest in peace.
