I dont even know what you are talking about, but I guarantee that if it walks, crawls, or flies, and a coonass can get ahold of it, it has been tried for a meal.

Do you know the difference in a coonass and a Cajun? grin

Good chit, my family is from Port Angelas and we would get clams including gooey ducks every year and can them for chowder when I was a kid. My great uncle was a caretaker for a big estate, so we had access to a big private beach. I guess rich folks don't clam so the beach was rich with clams. I had a uncle used to work Taylor, the folks in the Mike Rowe video.

Have eaten plenty of geoduck. Good stuff!. Was in the seafood market on the pier in Seattle one day when a couple tourist ladies spied the geoducks on ice, and began giggling.

The vendor asked them what's up? They answered with " Is this some sort of a joke?"

He picked one of the horse dick looking things up, pointed it at them and said " Lady, does this look like a joke to you?" laugh

Never heard of Geoducks.

Could be popular fare for modern urbanites.

Odd related story, I was in Hong Kong years ago on business and wandered into a open market one evening. What did I spy? Totes of live gooey ducks in the middle of a open air market. How they got those clams harvested, shipped across the globe, and into that market was mind blowing. Lot's of other things blew my mind in that market also laugh

I thought this was going to be about that liquified duck that Phil was talking about during the custom wood vs. plastic decoy episode of Duck Dynasty.

My hometown butcher shop. There was an older lady known for years for the size of the stick up her tailpipe. Butcher saw her coming. He had prepared by removing one of the faucets from a cow's bag. As the lady was entering, he zipped it just far enough into his fly to hold it, then turned to greet her. At the shocked look on her face, he looked down, said, "Is that thing out again?!", then flopped it onto the table and cut it off with the cleaver.

I'm guessing Gruff wasn't the buddy in the "food court" story?

Where do I sign up?

I'll even donate my share of the vino back to the party.
