What about the states named after Indians like the Dakotas? And cities like Cheyenne. And even worse there are all kinds of places named after killers of Indians such as Custer, Sturgis, Sheridan. And Jefferson who is already in bad odor over sex with his dusky mistress called them "the merciless Indian savage".
