We had almost 70+ today and along with those temps got 35-40 mph winds.

OH joy.

Slumlord,

Put out some cabbage and collard plants today. 81 right now. Busted up my watermelon patch too. Yeah plant them in a couple of weeks. Use my old eyehoe for all my ground bustin’.

Got out today and did a little work in the yard,....just enough to try and loosen up again. I think it worked to an extent, which is good news. I was beginning to wonder if this winter's bunged up condition was going to be permanent.

,....doesn't seem like it.

Bastid.

17F this morning..............................there ain't no collard/cabbage plantin' goin' on around these parts.

Pics of that eye hoe if you have or can get one. If it's what I call a grub hoe, I have one that needs a new handle.

I have a grubbing hoe too. It’s different. What most folks call a mattock. I got two eye hoes. One new one from Austria. And another old hand forged one I stuck a cedar handle in. I’ll get pics later.
