Naming which one it doesn't work in would be much easier... The list would be very short..

used it for some light loads in a 243 and 105gr and while slow, the results were spectacular.

it literally turned the 243 into a 6br

interesting to say the least.

Not that it matters much on a 9.3 cause most every load was really accurate.

It's great for your 8X57JRS drilling too.

Was gonna ask you about 25-35 brass for the high-power . Looks stupid close save for the rim diameter please advise. Know where there was a bunch today. Thanks.

I started using it in .308 when I couldn't find Varget. Works just about as well. Deer can't tell the difference. Also very good for 130 gr TTSX in .300 WSM.

6.5 Creedmoor with 120 Sierras. Bughole groups in my pards boys gun with 129 SST.

An X Bolt Varmint 22-250 I had would shoot little cloverleafs with RL-15 & a CT Ballistic Silvertip, shouldn't have let that one go.

Pards Savage 10 Predator 22-250 shoots little btty groups with a 50 grain V-Max and RL-15.

243 with 55 grain Ballistic Tips=small groups.

It works.

It looks like this will be a very versatile powder for me. I'll look forward to giving it a try. I need to work up some loads for a 375 H&H and a 35 Whelan so it will come in handy.

'15 is my go to in 7-08/308's as I've had much better luck running '15 through a Dillon powder measurer than Varget. With a ~45gn charge '15 will go +/- .2gn through a Dillon and Varget was +/- .3-.5gn the several times I tried it.

Like other's I've also experienced excellent results w/'15 in the 375H&H w/250TTSX, 270TSX, and 260 Partitions.

Concur and as others stated, 375 H&H, 308 and my B78 loves it with 50gr NBTs (that are NOWHERE to be found)..

Excellent powder, anywhere that Varget is appropriate, RL15 will work. Only downside is that it is DIRTY

Yes it is...I use it in applications where I don't want to burn up my Varget, despite having more Varget.

It is my 2nd choice for any bullet weight I shoot in 7mm-08, 120 gr to 140 gr. It shoots them well. But, I get equal accuracy and more velocity with Big Game. But this thread is about RL 15, which is an excellent powder and is more versatile than Big Game.

Never could get BG to work that well with 120's, although I use it with 150's in another 7-08. Groups at 100 yards always looked good with BG but once I tested out beyond 300 yards the groups would open up a lot.

My dissension, I couldn’t get an accurate load on my 6.5 Swede, 140 grain Amax, but it worked pretty well on 120 grain. RL 15 works very well on my 308 175 grain.
