I don't know about buyer protection with zelle. I have used it a lot in business to collect payments and pay workers and contractors, but not for buying and selling, as in hobbies. The one thing I don't like about zelle is it limits the amount of a first time payment. Other than that, it seems to work pretty good.

I sell and buy with uspsmo. Lost one purchase cause the guy wanted me to do PayPal. I refused. Have had zero problems with this. It costs $1.75 for any usps up to $1000, and the largest increment is $1000. So in some cases you may need to buy multiple if the item costs more than $1000. I do have several post offices less than 10 miles. And my bank cashed them, zero question.

PayPal saved me from getting scamed out of $650 on a Ebay transaction after Ebay and the post office basically told me tough $hit.

I Have used zelle, Venmo, and cash app a lot. Buying, selling or paying my subcontractors. Quick and easy.
All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally
