Bandsaw, pipecutter, ratchet and sockets, mallet, bench grinder, vise...had to fabricate some teflon lined steel bushings to fix a zero turn. After that success we planted some chukker and trained dogs. Was a good day. BZ7A5335 by .com/photos/canvasbackdrake/]JHC, on [bleep]

Just a couple of slotted screwdrivers. Replaced an electric outlet because the "boss" was complaining that every time she plugs something in there the plug almost falls out by itself because the slots are so worn. Same damn thing! Three of 'em. Must of made her tired watching me; she still on the couch watching TV!

Except, here there will still be some snow on the ground.

A chain saw to cut out some bushes then a file to sharpen the chain and a wrench to tighten the chain. I then dug my motorcycle out of the shed and put a battery charger on it so it would start. Once done with that I took it for a short ride. Later in the afternoon I punched out to front sight base pins on an AR15 with a hammer and a punch and tapped an 8-32 thread into the front sight base. From there I used a file to shape the holes so I can get the front sight base back on and get it straight up and down instead of 2 degrees to the right. Tomorrow I'm driving to Brownells to get some more AR tools and parts that I decided I needed after taking off the front sight. Now I'm using a key board to tell you all how busy of day I had. It was a good day.
All in all I think SamOlson takes the prize for playing with big tools.

Axe this AM to reduce a large white pine branch to pieces easier to pick up and put on trailer. It was cold last night and the chips flew. Flat bed trailer and old Case 446 lawn tractor with wheel weights and chains.
This evening used a propane torch, copper head soldering iron and allen wrench to remove a scope base from the Encore .460 barrel. Blue loctite and torque screw driver with torx bit to install an EGW 20MOA scope base on the .460.

Cleaning rod and Lucas bore guide. Yesterday it was a sump pump, a couple lengths of garden hose, a five gallon bucket, a pair of channel locks a Texas socket set. All used to de scale my POS tankless water heater...
Coyotes shot no waiting.

Battery powered drill, using a very fine grit polishing compound, lapped my revolver cylinder and throats! It may not shoot any better.....but, it sure is purty! 🙂 memtb
