Ran the original Goodyear all Terrain wranglers with kevlar they were 17" lr E for 4 years on my F-150 they had 60,000 on them when replaced.. Never had a flat kept them rotated as needed. Didn't hold the road well on wet or icy surface conditions. Nor were they good in snow or mud. Smooth, quiet and lasted well were their attributes. I bought Ironman AT as the replacement I was told they are made by Hercules. Did not even consider Goodyear for replacements fug woke fugs.

Duratracs came on the truck I just bought; seem OK. Nitto Ridge Grapplers/Terra Grapplers will go on next.

Firestones are junk (I'am being nice] last ones I owned was in 1985 and will never own a set ever again.....when I buy a new vehicle if it has Firestone tires they come off and are replace before I pick it up from the dealer I refuses to have them on my vehicle.....my family and friends feel the same way.....

Goodyears tend to go balled faster than BF Goodrich.....Michelins will last the longest but don't have as good traction as BF Goodrich.....

This.

Only tires my brother and I both use, 200K on his Tundra, 281K on my Tacoma.

Buy on Tire Rack and be done.

The bfg’s I had on the old Chevy were real hard to keep wear even. Had to rotate constantly. I put 20k plus mikes a year on.

The Goodyear faux all terrains that came in the f150 lasted 70k miles. 1 had to be replaced because of leaking air within 10k miles. Another on leaked air 1-3 pounds a week. Mud traction sucked

I replaced them with Goodyear ultra terrains e range which are exclusive to discount tire and are similar to duratracs. Wet pavement is a little sketchy but off road traction is great. Nice and quiet for a near mud terrain tire. Smooth ride. So far they wear very evenly.

BFg wants a 35% price premium on thier now so won’t be buying them.

I hear good things about nitto but they are expensive also. Had a set of Cooper atx once that were good. Michelin and Firestone are highway tires and useless off-road- get stuck in wet grass

A lot depends on the vehicle. My wife’s Nissan Armada eats tires. They wear evenly but can’t get anything to last more than 20-30k miles even Michelin . It’s just a heavy vehicle.

Unfortunately trailer tires are almost all junk. The only ones that seem to get near universal praise are Goodyear Endurance. I'd have to suck it up and buy them.

I had BFG TA's on an F-150 and the truck and I took out a set of tail lights in the parking lot when I turned, but the truck didn't. Consumer Reports says Michelin LTX A/T2 or Continental for light trucks are the best and admittedly are probably more for on road use. I pull way better vehicles on a trailer for off road use than my 6,500# F-150.

I don't know a great deal about tires, but I've always gotten good service out of Bridgestone Duelers on my Tacoma(s)

I have Terra Grapplers as my "summer tires" on my F-250. They have all the gravel road rock-throwing capability of a BFG ATKO2 with less traction. On a 3/4-1tn rig the Exo-Grappler is far superior and THE BEST AT tire I've run on a diesel pickup on hard-packed snow/ice and more stable with a load on due to the extra belt in the sidewall. I avoid mud like the plague but the couple of times I've needed to traverse mud, the Exo's have gotten me where I needed to go or allowed me to back out where I didn't need to go as bad as I initially thought I did.

The Nitto Trail Grapplers are great off-road but they suck on snow/ice.

I haven't tried a set of Ridge Grapplers.

Duratracs on a diesel were like driving on marshmallows. Phooey.

Nitto is a "Made in USA" division of Toyo.

Their new Open Country AT III certainly looks worth a try.

The cooper MTP muds I have worked awesome in some incredible thick stuff but I couldn't hear myself thing on the highway. I recently put some of the Falkens AT's on my fronts and am loving them so far. It came down between those and the Toyo AT3's (probably my first pick) but so far so great. A bit heavy for All terrains though. Not sure if I will keep muds on the rear or go all AT's next. I run all LT's now. Mileage sucks but rocks cactus and mesquite have not gotten me on these.

After they give me 8 new tires, I would consider Goodyear. After buying new ones and having them wear out too quickly. One on a Valiant , that size 215x14 should have lasted for damm near forever and set on my pickup. Bridgestones went on the truck, a little more money, but they easily out lasted the truck. Original Bridstones were great tires. On my current pickup, BFG all terrains were one and done.
