I just heard, Brad's tumor is cancer. A quick biopsy is not a good sign. It means that they could identify necrotic tissue in the tumor site. The kid needs to get to a comprehensive care cancer center to be enrolled in a clinical trial. Make sure that the center has proton beam radiation capabilities. The current neuron radiation/chemo standard of care is a death sentence. If he is lucky, he will have the genetic markers to allow him into the study as an active participant, not a placebo. These studies love young patients with a chance for survival. Best of luck for your friend. It is in God’s hands now. Clinical Trial

Sorry to hear of your friend’s diagnosis! We will keep Brad and all involved in our prayers.
I know you are limited in what you can suggest to folks who aren’t kin, but Based upon our personal experiences, strongly urge them to go to one of the cancer treatment centers. Rural hospitals, even when associated with bigger facilities or med schools are not on the leading edge of treatment development. My nephew is an Oncologist and those are his words not mine.
