Maher is dead on and we would do well to listen. China is kicking our ass in just about every category, while we dither over "wokeness" (whether Doc Seuss was a racist), whether to pay reparations to tens of millions of people who never endured a millisecond of slavery (after we've already bribed them with about $22 trillion of "Great Society" spending and after several hundred thousand Americans gave their lives ending it). We're hell bent to pay illegals and inmates with the lie that its a "stimulus" and inviting every uneducated, dirt-poor gang-banger immigrant from South America into our country to get free health care and welfare, among other idiocies. China's GDP grew by 2.3% last year. Ours shrank by 2.3% They are set to overtake us as the world's largest economy in 2026. They are laying an ownership claim to the entire African continent (roads, infrastructure, ports, rail, telecom, you name us). Huawei is raking in worldwide 5G contracts like crazy, thus positioning China to dominate that multi-trillion dollar wealth-generating technology. They are on the cusp of having the largest Navy in the world. They have a hypersonic carrier-destroying cruise missile that we are all-but defenseless against. They probably hacked (stole) practically the entire plans to the F-35.

The average Chinese IQ is 105. Ours is 100 and falling (because we pay sub-Saharan Africans to have more babies, because high IQ whites aren't having kids anymore and because we allow mass illegal immigration from Mexico and other low IQ southern hemisphere countries). We are dying a not-so-slow death of over-regulation, economic idiocy such as massive deficit spending, welfare statism and soul-destroying political correctness and cultural Marxism. Chinese kids were in school almost the entirety of last year---learning math at a high level. Meanwhile, our kids missed an entire year of school and the teacher's unions still don't want to go back to work and then the product they do put out (when school is in session) is an absolute phugging joke. Maher is a liberal, not a leftist and his commentary could not be more correct or timely.

Hopefully Maher will start speaking out against mass-immigration. He has already been an outspoken critic of Islam.

We did several thing wrongly and i am doing to talk about a few. First of all our immigration system has affected the country in more ways than anyone wants to admit. People come here and want equal right and want to be part of the government, I would love to see this happen in China or anywhere else in the world.
We have allowed lifestyle the lead instead of reasoning, and knowledge. Pop culture and material WANTS. Meanwhile technology and science has not been growing, industries are going to China.
We ignore Africa for far too long. It would have been better to invest in them and help develop their economy to do business because they will be more easier to reason and negotiate with that won't lead to any kind of violence. Africa's problem are the greedy leader or steal from their own people, They take the money to other countries for safe keeping. lols.
If we had done business with Vietnam and some other Africa countries i swear the world would be a better and more peaceful place.

You are on to something with that. Maher is an Old School liberal, so don't think he's our friend. Maher is not a wacko Progressive. Old School Libs are for gun control, for abortion on demand, and for government regulation, but they are not necessarily out for the complete and total destruction of America. Old school libs want to help the poor, but don't want ANTIFA torching their cities.

Possible, look what they did to Al Franken. As i posted elsewhere, modern Progressivism is a destructive force, not a constructive force.
