At 18, I was rather looking forward to the drinking and pre marital (heterosexual!) sex that a public university offered, so I did not attend Oral Robert’s’ esteemed institution.

I made that choice 30 years ago, it seems strange that people fail to grasp that concept now.

99% of our local papers run USA Today material. The only time they run local news is when darky been done wrong by whitey..and the weather.

I used to laugh at Oral Roberts programs when I was a kid and was surprised to see his university achieve any sort of credibility but, I have to admit, they have done a remarkably good job of moving toward the mainstream while retaining some decent moral values. I have often wondered if "fleecing the flock" was offered as an advanced degree.
Seriously though, Oral Roberts is teaching morality which is somewhat refreshing in this day and age. GD

drugs: not mentioned. However, we're told to obey the law so illegal drugs are forbidden.
homosex or sex outside of marriage: very strongly prohibited
alcohol: not prohibited and Jesus drank it. It does say to not get drunk so we are to limit the amount we drink
tobacco: not mentioned at all. It's a new world plant and wasn't known when the Bible was written. We are told to take care of our bodies and tobacco is very unhealthy
