My wife and I met with the oncologist yesterday. The good news is the radiation treatments will only be Monday-Friday. I thought they were going to be 7 days a week. I get the hormone shot on Monday, and then about 2 months later we start with the radiation. If I miss a treatment for whatever reason, they add it on to the tail end of the run. The treatments will take 8-9 weeks. I'm to the point I really just want to get this going.
We're doing a family outing up to Chengwatana State Forest for some shooting this Sunday. The whole fam damily's going. Hoping to shoot the Model 70 I picked up, as well as the Shield. My son's buddy, who's a total newbie to deer hunting (he'll be hunting with us this fall) is going along. He'll be carrying that Model 70 this fall, provided it's minute of deer accurate.
Still got one too many boats sitting in the front yard. The Lund's out there with a for sale sign on it, but no bites to date. I think I'm going to redo the ad this weekend and restart it on Craigslist. Have a good weekend guys. It's supposed to be nice here in Minnysoda. The crappies should be biting before too long here.

Dave-we had a family shooting day up in Pine City yesterday. We were shooting near a swamp, and lo and behold, in the ditch along the road, lay a very dead deer. We watched a little weasel come out and feed on the carcass for about 10 minutes. Tell Chickenbuck Joe his swamp squids are finding their way south!
