Might have to try one of these out, I have been shooting a lot more 20ga these days. Nothing like carrying a nice light weight 20ga in the field.

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.

That looks sweet. I have an M2 and a cordoba but I might need one of these. Switched my primary duck gun to A400 extreme from SBE2 so maybe an A400 in 20ga. Thanks for sharing.

I know the SBE is a slightly different design but practically speaking I can’t figure out how it warrants another $400-$500 over an M2.

My fairly large LGS that always has 12-15 benellis on the shelf only got three in on their first shipment. I had been on a waiting list. They said they may not get anymore until late summer.

The M2 is a superior gun. Most Benelli semi auto troubles come from the SBE design. The SBE only came about to handle the 3.5" 12 gauge waterfowl loads. Since there are no Roman Candle 20 gauge loads the small gauge SBE makes zero sense.

I have zero problems out of my sbe's 12's and they have cycled more 3" steel loads than 99+% of shotguns have ever run.

I suspect the SBe3 in 20 gauge is to get the detent features that prevent Benelli click into a 20 gauge.
Or to sell to people that have to have a sbe3 over the lower class M2
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

Lower class? Ridiculous.
