OK, for all the input I got- thank you very much!

I got a quote from Hagerty. at first it was denied, but I called them. one of the boxes you can check is "daily driver", don't do that. they do not ensure daily drivers, no matter what other questions you answer. the guy changed it to "pleasure". The only thing different from another insurance company / quote is He asked me what the value was (what I paid basically). I told him, and I'm good to go. No mileage limits. although he did ask, I told him 10k a year (very high estimate, I don't work)

it is a little more than my previous policy...obviously, but probably reasonable, and will definitely cove the price of the vehicle.

and oh by the way, I also tried Grundy. you have to ensure 3 vehicles to be eligible...so the fine print said

It can be a crap shoot. Limited miles, only "parade" events etc. Be very sure to read the fine print. Get the vehicle appraised, your adjuster's and your opinion of "worth" could be very different. My father was an attorney for an insurance company and president of the arbitration board. He had lots of stories. Best was a Split Window Corvette that lost a fight with a Moose. One side looked perfect.. The other side not so much. Fiberglass and a Moose's horns are not a good match.
