Lumber has been going up since this time last year. It didn't take long for this thread to head South. I simply point out lumber has been going up for a year and the hillbillies come out of the wood work. Not surprising. Yep, you pointed it out but fail to understand or accept why.

Anybody have any ideas on where to invest so that your money will follow inflation? I have some crypto, metal, and oil. Also 3% of my IRA in a leveraged Russia fund (RUSL) I'll ask this again when y'all get through rolling in the mud.

Seen steel and plywood go up like crazy before. Steel was crazy way back in ‘04. I know, I was buying a lot of it.
Plywood went stupid after Katrina. It was high 6 months ago (as much as I dislike Biden, he’s not personally responsible).
I’ve seen gas way higher than this.
Biggest problem is jacked up supply chains and logistics.
Biden will eventually unravel all of Trumps tariffs, we can all start buying cheap Chinese junk again and all will be right with the world. Or at least some on here can quit wringing their hands.....or wring them about something else.

A good place to start looking is at Trumps Canadian lumber tariffs. At least those that are smart enough to understand. I can explain it to you but I can’t help you understand.

I don't have an advisor if that is what you mean. All self directed, and more than doubled since March a year ago. Bought in at the time of maximum Corona-19 fear.

Free advice is worth what you pay for it.
Bouncing it on the 'fire can't hurt, but pay a Pro for real help.
