The potus is not in a position under our constitution to be a dictator. They've all been "dictators" since Washington taxed whiskey. They were only supposed to "amend" the Articles of Confederation. Instead, they gave themselves a license to rule over the peasants. Seems throughout history to be a peat repeat thing , some to lesser , some to a greater degree . I once read that when the smoke clears , who really won ? People will be people . All we can do is go with the closest side that suits us , there will always be abuse of power . In somebodies eyes . Neither of those documents is grey. It’s all in black and white, written for farmers and millers and carpenters and shop owners as well as lawyers to understand. And now it’s time for over educated politicians to understand. There is no “closest side”. It’s either right or wrong. And this illegal regime in power for a time is dead wrong. Freudian slip. Their abuse of power exceeds any in my 70 years on earth. The mandate is to rule by decree not govern by consent. This will not stand. Again, there is no closest side, only right vs wrong. They are wrong.

Given the performance of the SC that is seated now, I don't see why they are even bothering. Yup. I found this particularly amusing, . Then-President Donald Trump appointed Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, coming after he appointed Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, giving the court a 6–3 conservative tilt. It appears to me that the author of the OP article hasn’t been paying much attention.

The Democrats play the long game. They are willing to wait years for their plans and their agenda to come to fruition.
They may not have the votes to rescind the Filibuster rule just yet, but they will. Come 2022 there will be 34 Senate seats up for re-election. Of those 34 seats 20 are Republicans and only 14 Democrats.
With Biden’s “Most extensive voter fraud organization ever developed” still in play , it is quite possible, if not probable that the Democrats pick up several seats in the Senate. They might even pick up the much needed 10 seats so the Filibuster rule change may not be needed.
Either way, 60 Democrats, or change the rules, waiting another 2 years is nothing when it comes to the Democrats long game.

Bauer, namely, has been a proponent for term limits for Supreme Court justices. In 2005, he wrote for the Washington Post that “in our system of government, we normally constrain great power with limits rather than license its indefinite exercise.”
Should this not apply to congress?
