I bought a used CZ 527 and there is a bit of rust around the safety parts. I cannot figure out how to remove them from the receiver to inspect it. I have the trigger and sear removed, but can't figure out this last part. Has anyone removed these parts? If so, how did you do it?

Someone on another board figured out for me and it worked like a charm:

Going by this diagram:

http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/FIREARMS/cz527.pdf

Pull the barreled action from the stock. From the bottom of the receiver, apply pressure to the spring-loaded "bolt handle catch plate" (No. 25). Push it to the limit of travel, and the "safety" (No. 23) will swing freely. Once the spring pressure is relieved, and the plate is out of the way, you can pull the safety lever out, perpendicular to the bore axis.
