It’s a good thing turkeys can’t smell. They would harder to shoot than coyotes.

Good evening to you sir, I hope that all other aspects of the day went as fine as your trading and that you and those who matter to you are well.

Regarding the Velocitor, I'm not sure if you've used them on anything or not, but they have absolutely become my go to "yard coyote load".

While I am legal to discharge larger arms in the yard, we've got neighbors close enough that a single .22 round going off doesn't ruffle anyone's sensibilities - other than the coyote's.

I want to say I've taken about 7 yard coyotes with Velocitors now, 5 of which only required a single application to result in a drop. Having shot enough coyotes with center fires, I was sort of impressed when the first big female I hit with a Velocitor just dropped on her side with her tail in the air like they do.

Anyways, that's my experience with Velocitors sir.

All the best to you this weekend.

Dwayne

Hitting the hay...
Just got 21 again for tommorow.

Same bat time
Same bat channel.
Only about 100 meters east of this mornings spot.
Little further down the slope.
Dekes/ Bytches will be on the fire break.
And I will be in the woodline in a spot I kicked out about 25 yards in the woods.
Trimmed a few branches on the edge of the woods looking onto the fire break and dekes.
Paced out 21 left foot steps= 35 yds.
Stuck a branch in the ground to put the dekes at on the firebreak/ field edge.
No smart to do all this in the morning dark.
Birds could be roosted close....
Too much movement and noise.
Place dekes on way in, move to kicked out tree spot sit down and wait to see if they start gobbling.

Clear skies and high pressure front now.

Might get the birds fired up in the morning

Strange not hearing any shots this morning out their.

Why they call it hunting instead of killing.
Nothing is a given in the game.

Looks like a good day of trading. Idk what it is about it but I actually enjoy bartering. I doubt I come out ahead often but it's fun. The velociters are awesome, super accurate from my S&W victory. Good luck with the turkeys
