Do you have to draw or is it otc? Is there a Fall season? My sons are making another trip for elk, archery this time.

OTC turkey tags. there are some draw hunts but the state is mostly OTC. There is a fall season usually 9/1 to 9/30. It's also OTC any turkey is legal.

Told my son. He’s going to check the turkey possibilities in the unit they're trying to draw for. Thanks.

Must be the season for old school. Just got word yesterday my son dropped a nice bird in Kansas with his Miroku SxS shooting 2 3/4” shells out of full and modified. 32 yr shot, 1 1/8” Spurs, 10” beard but only weighed 19 1/2 lbs.

Nice bird for sure. And that load is a good one. The fellow that started me Turkey hunting yrs ago shot 1/4 oz #5's from an old Browning auto 5 2 3/4 .
