Had something similar in the basement of a property we bought a few years ago. The couple who had lived there had a small time business making signs and faux stained glass windows out of plexiglass. That one could be angled or laid flat as well as standing vertical. FWIW...?

Big question: can it be removed from the house without using a torch to cut it in pieces?
My SIL looked at a house with a gas furnace that had replaced an older oil furnace. It had a finished basement and the old oil tank was down there, 500 gal. The only possible way to remove it was in pieces. I told her she absolutely did NOT want to buy that house unless the tank was gone first.
