You need to look at the "excess deaths", the number of deaths compared to previous years (adjusted for any change of population size). If you look at that number, you'll find that 2020 had a statistically significant increase.
Not in WA state.
We had 1,400 deaths per week in 2017.
We have not got that high in 2020 or 2021.
But in states where democrats packed nursing home wards with Covid patients..... yeah, they got a spike.
Imagine if we had packed nursing home wards with cold and flu carriers in 2017. We could have made a pandemic to order.
