My favorite is a sling I make from some kind of green, military surplus, carry strap. I'ts about 2 inches wide, and made of some kind of cotton canvas. I take the hooks off of each end and replace them with a quick detachable swivel. It doesn't slip on my shoulder, really spreads the load, it's easy to adjust and is very light weight. I have a few Quakes and they work great. I have 1 Montana sling and it works good as well that lives on my Marlin .444 lever gun.
I dont use a sling as much as I used to as I prefer my gun bearers.

I use an old m1 carbine canvas sling with quick disconnects added. Cheap, od green, easily adjustable, and doesn’t slip off your shoulder.
