I have been wanting to try a contender for a while now, I found a G2 with a match grade machine 7-30 waters barrel, pacmyer grip and forend in really nice condition. My question is if I pay 600 for it and it’s not my thing could I get my money back? I think the barrel is 12 or 14” and stainless. TIA for opinions.

Simple answer: Yes G2 frames are hard to find right now and are selling for crazy prices

That is a very reasonable price. The barrel alone is worth $400. Get brass if you can

Yes. Recently things have been selling for crazy prices. Get it and shoot it. If you don’t like it, list it asap and you should be able to get your money back.

I found a .223 super 14 bbl so am gonna slap the Burris 3-12 on it.
Blued scope so will run blued bbl.
I found a stainless .223 and match .22lr as well.
Have a .22 mag set up w 4x. The burris scope is heavy. Luggee it once afield yoting. Said bench toy only after that.

Hookeye, if you don’t want that 223 bbl & if its a carbine length or longer, let me know.

Nope. Both the blued and stainless .223 are 14". Thought about threading one for an XM177 style brake
