Brian Sicknick's death of 'natural causes' is yet more proof that the Jan. 6 riot was not what the media said it was
With each passing day, it becomes clearer that the Jan. 6 riot in the Capitol building was pretty bad but nowhere near the rabid and racist lynch mob that the media tried and still try to make it out to be.
It turns out that 42-year-old Brian Sicknick, the Capitol Police officer who died on that day, was not murdered by a Trump supporter who struck him in the head with a fire extinguisher, as was initially reported. He didn't die at the hands of a Trump supporter at all.
Sicknick had a stroke. He had two, in fact.
The Washington Post on Monday reported that the District of Columbia's chief medical examiner has concluded that Sicknick died of natural causes eight hours after he had collapsed in his office that sad day.
'''To be fair to the rest of the media, the Capitol Police has been offensively cagey and nontransparent in the weeks and months after Jan. 6. For the longest time, it said nothing, even as journalists at the New York Times and commentators on MSNBC were working overtime to cement the narrative Trump supporters had gone on a murderous, racist rampage that claimed the life of a policeman.'''
A few people did die that day, but with news about Sicknick's death, we're down to just one person who was actually and intentionally killed by another person on Jan. 6. That was Ashli Babbitt, one of those storming the Capitol. She bled to death after being shot in the neck by a police officer.
