It's just another demonstration of the power of .gov over its subjects.

.gov, with the cooperation of the ministry of propaganda, perpetuates its power through the generation of fear within its subjects.

They can take literally *any* person, in this case a cop, usually a little higher on the "power" scale, and destroy that person for no reason, except to show the power of the rulers.

Lower class fear getting their free stuff taken away.

Middle class fears the drug laws and the cops.

Middle upper and Upper fear the IRS and being exposed by the Ministry.

It’s like when my liberal sister-in-law visits.
