I've only owned 2
First was Vaquero in 45 Colt - it's the newer, smaller one. No hot rodding it. Enjoy it quite a bit.
Second is a Bisley in 480R - haven't fired it yet and I might not, thought about sending it out to be slicked up some as a step up. Maybe Bowen for a "Perfected Bisley #3"

Just an old inaccurate Old Army. Wife won some muzzleloading pistol matches with it. She was scoring higher than the men in their matches. I think it is still mine as it was a Christmas present about '73 from my bride to me. Be Well, RZ.

Purchased 1975. Very nice. I have the same with the same barrel length. But after one of our forum members showed his RNSBH showed his with the shortened barrel, I would like to try that either.

mine was a ruger single six, the first handgun that i ever bought brand new, soon after i moved to a 2a friendly locale. it is with me now, traveling away from home, with 200 rounds each of 22lr and 22wmr ammo, in a locked case. i can carry more ammo and i get to scrounge two different calibers.

My first SA revolver - Ruger S.S. Super Blackhawk 45 Colt. Thus began an eternal love affair for SA quality revolvers and an even more intense appreciation for the 45 Colt.
Ordered the gun from Jerry’s Sports Center on clearance. The price was $200.
I have roughly ten 45 Colts now. All of them SA’s.

6.5" single six in 22mag looked like Roundoaks but with std wood grips it came in a Mexican made and tooled belt and holster. Bought it from the lawyer who had an office next door to the hardware store I worked at, I was 15 he told me if my dad didn't like that he'd refund my money and take it back it cost me $40. Year and a half later I picked up a used old model single six with a 5.5" barrel and adj sights 22lr . Shot the hell out of it cost me $50 was sure I got screwed. Couple of years later a friend was interested in learning the pistol, we went out and burned a couple of boxes of mohawks and he shot himself in the foot. Yeah no sh*t had to haul his butt to the hospital and of course the cops got called and I got grilled. After that I never let anyone shoot it but me. Couple years later an old model 6.5" 357 mag followed me home ,shot the hell out of that learning to reload centerfire pistol ammo. My buddy who shot himself in the foot with the 22lr wanted to shoot it. I looked at him and told him go head but don't point it at your feet. He got it done without shooting himself again and eventually bought a Ruger security six for his use. I still have the 5.5" 22lr and never had it converted and you know I've never shot myself either but I have seen it happen and it really ain't pretty or funny Mb

Herters Model perfect 357 that I ordered over mail and received it back by mail.
I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

He said he did not, but he had the 45 Colt that he was having a hard time getting rid of. Really was a good deal for me. That was 1988 if I recall correctly. I still have the receipt.

It was a good deal, even back then. IIRC, you could buy S&W N frames all day long about that time, for $400 and less.

I was a young teenager back in the early 70's when I obtained a nickel plated, Sauer made, Peacemaker with Pearlite grips in 22LR. Besides plinking and hunting cottontails and jackrabbits I learned Western quick draw. Dry fired it so much the frame where the top strap meet with the rear sight, cracked. Don't remember where it went after that.
