When the judge said grounds for appeal it was written in stone

The jury was intimated. He never had a chance.

He chose to work in one of the worst places in America. That's a tough gig to survive as a cop. What is "fair" in the most liberal State in the union is not necessary fair anywhere else. That box is easily painted. True. My point is that there some places that you can expect to be treated unfairly.
The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.

The jury knew what they would decide before the trial started. The trial was like the 2020 election.
Fraud and lies and the outcome was already decided before it started. Appeal, sue for restitution and be found not guilty.
Or, maybe ask for the bounty money, but after the appeal trial is over.

It was on video and broadcast all over. That he got a trial at all was fair enough. He may get another fair trial on the tax fraud charges. The 14 year old he beat with a flashlight and knelt on for over a quarter of an hour until the kid was bleeding from his ear may now get a fair shake. your wife left you for a cop didnt she? was that before or after she found out you are a [bleep] It's spelled Faag. And no, he did not get a fair trial. You two crybabies may benefit from any police reform resulting from the tragedy right along with people who are worth the trouble.

Why wasn’t the trial moved to a different venue in the first place? I believe that’s on the judge which borders on judicial malpractice. Or just poor “judgement.” No, I guess the first place is taken by arguably the stupidest city council in North America...the originalists in “reimagining policing with social workers”...add 27 mill to the Floyd family before any trial, criminal or civic. And, the same council firing the city employee who said the officer in the more recent Wright shooting should be given “due process.” The city council women on asking why she voted to have “that” person fired: “Because I don’t want those rioters showing up at my house.” (paraphrase mine). Real profiles in courage.

If the trail were fair he would have been given the death penalty. That video him driving the life out of a handcuffed and laying on the ground George Floyd was the first real murder that I've seen in my life.

Guilty or not Chauvin was really, really stupid for kneeling on the guy's neck like that while someone was videoing him, including for two minutes after the perp stopped breathing.
And the jurors were stupid for not getting excused before the trial. It's easy to do.
No prospective juror with the slightest awareness of the world could avoid being prejudiced either for or against Chauvin.
There will be an appeal. My guess is it's 50/50 whether or not there will be a mistrial. If so, there'll be a second trial.
Don't blame me. I voted for Trump.
Democrats would burn this country to the ground, if they could rule over the ashes.

Nope. He was tried and convicted in the media and not the courtroom. The court was a façade.

The defense presented a strong case. The prosecution did their part. However, the jury was the weak point. They knew if they came back with anything other than guilty on all charges, cities would burn, their lives would be in danger, people would die, billions of dollars worth of property would be destroyed.
In the end, the mob dictated the outcome. A coerced jury does not a fair trial make.
