L.W. Truth. It’s been a bit over a year I imagine since you lost your wife. Terrible thing, Alzheimer’s. You did well by your bride. I & my mom cared for my father through 3 years of decline. It’s an act of love. Godspeed LW and I hope you’re doing okay.

Okay, be honest. Who’s taken their lever action to see if they could rack with one hand like Chuck Connors or the Duke in True Grit? Hurts like hell is all I can remember. That and the one time was I all needed.

I have sympathy for anyone who has a loved one who has that awful disorder. Those who must deal with a loved one's dementia knows, it's a "36 hour per day" chore. That's the title of a very good book written by clinicians who deal with it constantly, " The 36 Hour Day." L.W.

That and the one time was I all needed. I had a toy leer gun that had a piece on the lever that could be rotated to then fire when the lever was closed. I remember watching that show with my Dad.

I watched every episode 5 years ago when I was off with a broken ankle. That’s when I figured out Chuck was lefthanded. He used the left in most all episodes, played for Dodgers and Celtics.

I've watched that show in syndication. It was a good show and provided a moral compass for its viewers.
No show exists today that has escaped the moral degradation of the Bolsheviks and their Satanic minions.

That and the one time was I all needed. Okay... I admit it. Darn near broke my freakin hand! That video reminds me of the first deer I shot with a model 94 at age ten, lol. Emptied all seven rounds on a buck at two-hundred yards.. about as fast as ol' Chuck! I made sure he was daid! 😁

Wow. RIP. Just so happens I just recently started watching The Rifleman free on Prime. Good entertaining shows that teach good old fashioned values but, man, those two sure got into a lot of fixes.
