The problem with the republican party is that even though they portray themselves as the party of smaller government they're really not. By virtue of them being a part of government they'll always choose to increase government power, otherwise they'd be voting themselves out of a job which is against human nature.
“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies... is a foolish idea. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.”

As Sundance puts it, Two different wings on the same bird.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.
The GOP lacks the leadership to promote and defend conservative values right now. You need to watch people like MT governor Greg Gianforte, that man is doing it right.

Carpenter made a movie, and isn’t intelligent enough to know what it’s really about...
“The political elements of the film are derived from John Carpenter's growing distaste with the ever-increasing commercialization of 1980s popular culture and politics, particularly the influence of Reaganomics, the economic policies promoted by U.S. President Ronald Reagan.[2] He remarked, "The picture's premise is that the 'Reagan Revolution' is run by aliens from another galaxy. Free enterprisers from outer space have taken over the world, and are exploiting Earth as if it's a third world planet. As soon as they exhaust all our resources, they'll move on to another world... I began watching TV again. I quickly realized that everything we see is designed to sell us something. ... It's all about wanting us to buy something. The only thing they want to do is take our money." To this end, Carpenter thought of sunglasses as being the tool to seeing the truth, which "is seen in black and white. It's as if the aliens have colorized us. That means, of course, that Ted Turner is really a monster from outer space."[nb 2] The director commented on the alien threat in an interview: "They want to own all our businesses. A Universal executive asked me, 'Where's the threat in that? We all sell out every day.' I ended up using that line in the film." The aliens were deliberately made to look like ghouls, according to Carpenter, who said, "The creatures are corrupting us, so they, themselves, are corruptions of human beings."[3]
Carpenter has rejected neo-Nazi and white supremacist claims that the film "is an allegory for Jewish control of the world," instead noting the film "is about yuppies and unrestrained capitalism".[4][5][6]”
Hint: “Yuppies and unrestrained capitalism” aren’t the people/ideology running our media/entertainment/government....
The end of democracy, and the defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.
Political correctness dictated by the Left and no balls.
Progressives are the most open minded, tolerant, and inclusive people on the planet, as long as you agree with everything they say, and do exactly as you're told.
They got hijacked by a narcissistic con man whose gone bankrupt five times.
But you vote for congresscritters who have never signed anybody's paycheck, never created one job, and have profited through legal (for them) insider stock trading on the backs of our military who have died in the Forever War in Ashcanistan? Pres. Trump has a lot of hotels and golf courses - who in CONgress has been as successful through employing Americans and building anything besides a legacy of corruption??

They are complicit with the Democrats in the uni party.
For decades they have lied to conservatives and Christians in the same way that the Democratic Party has lied to women and minorities. The party craves your vote so that they can maintain power.
Put democrats and republicans in a bag. Shake it up. Dump it out. It really doesn’t matter what rolls out first. The only difference is how fast what you see is drifting to the left compared to what rolls out next.
